Introducing GSW2 Virtual PROX™.....

26 Bit WIEGAND ACCESS CONTROL INTERFACE

The GSW2 Virtual PROX™ is a special version of the GSW2 device to interface with Wiegand 26 bit Industry Standard Access Control Systems, effectively backing it up using the mobile network.

With the GSW2 Virtual PROX™™ connected to the access control panel, Authorised Users can call the GSW2 device and it will give a Wiegand output to the Access Panel to switch the lock or gate as it would usually had a card or proximity fob been presented at a reader.

How GSW2 Virtual PROX Reader™ works....

The GSW2 Virtual PROX™ Reader effectively simulates a proximity access card being presented at a reader by simply calling from an authorised phone.

When access cards or fobs are lost, stolen or damaged or the external car reader is damaged or faulty, it causes major inconvenience for the Administrator.

The GSW2 Virtual PROX™ is not by any means a replacement for the access control system; it is simply an ingenious way of backing it up with a universal method; the mobile phone!

Authorised Users call the GSW2 Virtual PROX™ controller and it sends an access request to the access control system main control panel in the required 26 bit Wiegand Protocol*.

The Access Control Panel will authorise GSW2 & Voila! it will open the door or gate from the Users mobile.

*Wiegand Protocol is the Industry Standard and used by many proximity card, fob & biometric based access systems.
